Blank FAQ

BLANKS FAQ

  1. Will all the blanks look the same?

    - No. Each and every blank will look different.

  2. Can I place an order directly with you?

    - At this time I am taking direct orders for large quantities only. Each material must be ordered in groups of 12 (12, 24, 36, etc.). This helps keep my production schedule streamlined. All other requests will need to order directly off the website.

  3. The blank I need is out of stock. Can I order a couple real quick?

    - I’m sorry, no. I do my best to keep the website stocked in a timely fashion. Please do get in touch to see when that material may be coming up in the production schedule.

  4. Why does Primary Manipulation look different pen to pen?

    - As with every blank that is made they will all have different features. Sometimes different colors will play dominant even when using the same recipe. Primary Manipulation is known as an 8 color pour and as long as all 8 colors are used it will be called Primary Manipulation.

  5. What’s the difference between the Primary Manipulation types?

    - PM1: 7 Translucent colors with opaque white

    - PM2: 7 Translucent colors with a light pearl swirl

    - PM3: 7 Saturated colors with a pearl swirl

    - PM4: 7 Pearlescent colors swirled together

  6. The blank I want is sold out. How do I know when it’s available?

    - If you click on the product page for any blank that is sold out there is an area to sign up for notifications for when they’re added to the site. This is the best way to find out.

  7. Do you label the blanks?

    - Yes. Each blank will have a sticker label with the material name on it.

  8. Do you do custom color orders?

    - Yes, but on an as time allows basis. There will be a 12 blank minimum order for each iteration of the recipe.

  9. Do you offer exclusive colors?

    - Yes. I’d be happy to work with you on something exclusive. Some requirements would need to be met which can be dicussed via email.

  10. What do I do if there’s an air bubble?

    - I do my very best to ensure a clean pour. I use a minimum of 60psi of pressure to crush any air bubbles that may be present when the resin is poured. Even with this sometimes a single bubble may appear. Repairing is very easy to do. CA glue or epoxy inside the void to fill. If it’s in a bad place feel free to contact me and I can send some matching pigment to mix into the epoxy. A single bubble doesn’t constitute a failed pour. If there are dozens of bubbles throughout the blank that is a defect and will be replaced.
